Ingredients |

Rice flour |
|
2 cup |

Minced
onion |

½ cup |

Minced
green chillies |

desiccated coconut |

4 Tbsp |

Butter or
oil |

to cook the rottis. |

Cooking Method
 |
Combine all the ingredients from rice flour to
salt. |

Add enough water to make very soft dough. (like a
thick paste) |

Take a lump of dough, size of a small orange and
place it on a sheet of plastic or a piece of banana
leaf. Flatten it with moist hand, to a disc about 3
mm thick. |

Carefully transfer the rotti on to your palm and
invert on a hot tawa. Add about 2 tsp of
butter/oil. When the under side is cooked, invert
the rotti and cook the other side, adding more
butter/oil. Use all the dough thus. Serve hot with
chutney. |
